This one took a long time to get out of me… Tough thoughts to put into words, ya know?

  1. I was going to make a comment like the last panel before I saw the last panel.

So…refer to the last panel. Lots of us women prefer steaks to sticks. Oh, baby.

Tight art, by the way. The details you include are dead on.

    • Thanks! I’m still just squeezing these comics in wherever my work will allow so I don’t get nearly as much done as I’d like, but I still like to hear when people like them 🙂 Glad you’re a fan of steak, lol.

  2. Hey, man. Glad to see you found love in all the right places. 🙂

Hope your popularity explodes, one of your comics is floating around the Facebook share wave, so it might. Wishing you the ultimate success and happiness!

    • Yeah, it seems like this is a pretty normal sentiment. It’s easy to get into a little hole where you think you’re the only one who has trouble getting the art you really WANT to do done. Glad (and sad) to see I’m not alone, lol

  3. Came across this comic via a share on Facebook (and saw your comments about it). 😀 I know that feeling well, ‘cept I’m more of a female version of that. Some days it’s easy, some days it’s hard (regardless it’s a rollercoaster), but overall, life is good.

I seriously love this comic 🙂

And I agree with allthoughtswork, steaks are better. 😉

    • Heh, yeah. I’m working on another fat-centric comic right now. Don’t want to really dwell on the topic, but it’s interesting how few artists really dive into the feelings of being heavy. I’ve come to accept who I am but the negative feelings attached to being “fluffy” can really hang onto me at times. I want to keep this comic generally positive and fun, but I’m really glad to see my more serious strip struck a chord with some people 🙂 🙂 Thanks for reading!

  4. This really hits me on a level right here, having managing my weight my entire adult life – going up and down. Having people that love you just the way you are is the best reassurance that everything is ok. I really enjoy reading deep comics and I hope that you do more! A lot of people can relate to this kind of stuff. 🙂

I found you on the reddit wave and I am adding you to my webcomic bookmarks!! 🙂 I wish you all the success! I love your style!

    • Awesome! Really glad you like the comic. Yeah, this is a touchy issue that a lot of people seem to avoid talking about, especially in this forum. I think it’s perfectly fine to be as big or as small as you want to be, and I’m sure I’ll go through a loss phase someday, but it’s all about finding a way to be happy however you are. I’m glad this comic seems to strike a chord 🙂

I figured that if people are going to start reading my stuff more (which they are all of a sudden) I should put the time and effort into making it worth their time 🙂 I’m trying to make this thing all fancy and high quality, lol. Thanks for the comment and I hope to hear from you again!!
